41 Shanly Street

Located in the west end of Toronto, 41 Shanly Street was an existing felt manufacturing industrial building, embedded in a single family residential neighbourhood. Purchased in 1981, it was converted and extended into 10 multi-level loft condominium residences, with indoor parking and with features such as private roof terraces and fireplaces included as a standard. In 1984, Mitchell and Associates received the Ontario Renews Award for 41 Shanly Street, for design excellence and achievement in the category of non-residential to residential renovation. 300 Avenue Road Award

300 Avenue Road

Located on Avenue Road midway between Davenport and St. Clair, 300-302 Avenue Road, originally constructed in the 1890's as two semi-detached dwellings, was purchased in 1980 and converted into 6 luxury multi-level condominium residences. In 1984 Mitchell and Associates also received recognition from the Ontario Renews program for 300 Avenue Road for excellence in design and achievement in the category of Single to Multiple Family Renovation.See also Information on 300 Avenue Road.
